Intuit Inc. (NASDAQ:INTU) announced today that Chase Manhattan Mortgage will be a featured Charter Lender for its new online mortgage service to be launched on November 4, 1997. Chase Manhattan Mortgage is one of six leading lenders who are teaming with Intuit and GHR Systems to offer real-time mortgage information, personalized mortgage rate quotations, and online mortgage applications on Intuit’s QuickenMortgage website.
Chase Manhattan Mortgage Corporation, a subsidiary of The Chase Manhattan Corporation, the nation's largest banking institution, is the third largest residential lender in the country. Known for its comprehensive product line, competitive pricing, and customer responsiveness, Chase will be offering Fixed and ARM mortgages in both conventional and jumbo programs through QuickenMortgage.
QuickenMortgage is a new Internet-based service that enables lenders to reach millions of consumers through Quicken.com, Excite's business and investing channel, and through the new Quicken 98 software. Consumers will be able to save time and shop for a mortgage conveniently from their own homes by completing a simple step-by-step online interview. QuickenMortgage will enable consumers who are seeking to purchase a home or refinance to compare mortgage options, customized for the particular property and their financial situation.
