Ohio National -- An Internet Pioneer Among Insurers --
Joining Intuit’s Quicken Insuremarket Web Site
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. - February 02, 1998 - Intuit Inc. (NASDAQ: INTU) announced today that Ohio National Financial Services is participating in Quicken InsureMarket.

Ohio National is now providing company information and term life product information on the Quicken InsureMarket Web site. Later this spring it plans to market term life policies, issued by Ohio National Life Assurance Corporation, by providing real-time rate quotes on Quicken InsureMarket.

"We are very excited about the opportunities to use the Internet to extend the services of Ohio National to new consumers through Quicken InsureMarket," says David B. O'Maley, Ohio National chairman, president and chief executive officer.

"This represents yet another part of Ohio National's strategy for using the Internet for growth, convenience and efficiency, and to support all of our sales and distribution channels," O'Maley continues. Ohio National launched its own Web site in 1995, at a time when only a small percentage of other insurers had introduced sites.

"Ohio National adds another significant insurance provider to the Quicken InsureMarket Web site, which has grown rapidly in the past year by offering online consumers a wide array of services to help them learn about insurance or shop for a policy," says Steven Aldrich, president of Intuit's insurance subsidiary, Interactive Insurance Services Corp. (IIS).
