(NASDAQ: INTU), a world leader in financial software and Web-based services, has selected Marimba's Castanet(tm) application distribution and management (ADM) technology for use with certain products as Intuit expands the Internet-related products and services it offers to millions of customers worldwide. As a comprehensive ADM solution, Castanet was created to help companies worldwide overcome the challenges they face in deploying and maintaining applications, data and services over any network, to any endpoint.
Marimba's Castanet is a field-proven solution that allows companies, such as Intuit, to quickly and easily extend the reach and capabilities of existing or planned applications. It effectively exploits the potential of the Internet as a platform for distributing, managing and updating software. Both Intuit and Marimba will announce specific applications and functionality at a future date.
