Quicken Shopper: Free Price Comparison Software from Quicken.com
"Quicken Shopper," is new free software available through an agreement between Quicken.com and ClickTheButton.com, Inc. Quicken Shopper allows online shoppers to obtain price comparisons from Quicken.com and ClickTheButton.com while they shop at more than 50 online stores that provide more than one million products. People obtain the price comparisons by installing the Quicken Shopper icon (free for download from Quicken.com's Shopping Channel or at Quicken.clickthebutton.com) and then clicking the icon while browsing a product for sale in an online store. After they click, shoppers see a list of online stores that sell the same product, which each charges and links to their order pages. This service works with books, movies, music, toys and computer-related products.

"Our goal is to help Quicken.com users compare prices whenever and wherever they are shopping online," said Cheyenne Ehrlich, CEO of ClickTheButton.com. "People quickly download once and then are armed with the full power of Quicken Shopper whenever they are online shopping.

To install Quicken Shopper, users can click on the Quicken Shopper icon on the Quicken.com Shopping Channel Home Page and follow the simple installation instructions. The Quicken Shopper icon installs next to the clock on a Windows computer (a Macintosh version will be available in a few weeks).

Consumers and Expert Product Reviews Help Users Decide Which Items to Buy
Quicken.com has joined forces with Epinions.com (Quicken.epinions.com) to provide a free online shopping guide, called "Product Reviews." This service offers unbiased consumer reviews about products to buy and products to avoid, as well as links to some the Internet's best professional reviews and buying guides. The Product Reviews section of Quicken.com's Shopping Channel, powered by Epinions.com, is a platform for consumers to share advice and recommendations with others on what to buy and what not to buy based on real experiences. Consumers have the final say: they write about products they love or hate, rate the usefulness of others' reviews, and read reviews from people they trust. Consumers can rely on these product reviews to offer brutally honest, relevant and unbiased reviews.
