Quicken Quotes Live, which serves consumers who are more actively investing or monitoring the market, was added to the menu of e-finance services available at Quicken.com after parent company Intuit Inc. (NASDAQ: INTU) acquired Montreal-based Hutchison Avenue Software Corporation. Hutchison is a leading developer of technology and software that links users with tick-by-tick stock price movements.

With delayed stock pricing data, investors are at least 20 minutes behind the market, and with data services that are "non-streaming", customers are left having to retrieve data. Quicken Quotes Live brings real-time data directly to investors as trading occurs, tick by tick. This allows investors to keep their fingers on the pulse of the market. Coupled with the additional analytic trading tools offered by Quicken Quotes Live, investors are empowered to make more educated and confident investment decisions.

In addition to streaming real-time stock price quotes, Quicken Quotes Live gives users many of the key trading tools used by sophisticated investors. Market trend information such as the list of the most active gainers/losers and movers of the day, as well as a unique "Gap Lists," which list stocks that open either significantly higher or lower than the previous day's closing price are all available. Quicken Quotes Live also offers analytic charts in a variety of timeframes, market trends and indices, portfolio management capabilities, and provides visual and audio alerts for any security in user's portfolio based on variety of movements which include the ability to customize the movement that you're tracking.

Furthermore, an embedded browser provides seamless integration with Quicken.com for additional personalized investor resources. Rounding out the experience, the entire Quicken.com web site provides tools and information on all areas of personal finance, from investing, mortgage, insurance, taxes and retirement. A consumer can then link directly to any online trading site of their choice.

Quicken Quotes Live is currently offered on a subscription basis at three service levels:

• The Real-Time Package ($19.95 per month, plus exchange fees) provides access to up to 50 stock price quotes simultaneously, as well as live market trends, over 300 real-time market indices and a wide range of intra-day and interday analytical price charts.
• The Deluxe Real-Time Package ($34.95 per month, plus exchange fees) provides users with all of the above, plus an additional 100 real-time price quotes (for a total of 150), one- and two and a half-minute intra-day charts and detailed pricing time and sales tables. For an additional $20 per month, subscribers can add 150 quotes to the list for a total of 300.
• The Basic Delayed Package ($9.95 per month) offers users streaming tick-by-tick delayed quotes on up to 35 stocks, as well as inter-day price charts on a one-, three- and six-month and one-year basis. This package also includes delayed data on more than 300 indices, and a look at market trends.
