Boston -
July
24,
2000 -
Interlynx Technology, the leading provider of Web and interactive voice response (IVR)-based self-service applications for human resources, today announced their award-winning InterActionTM product has been implemented at Intuit Inc. (NASDAQ:INTU) a leader in e-finance, including financial software and Web-based services for consumers and small businesses.
InterAction is the first product to combine infrastructure and application functionality, creating an enterprise-wide service delivery architecture called the ISDP - Integrated Service Delivery Platform. The ISDP functions as a self-service operating system, allowing InterAction applications, third party products, and internally developed applications to share a group of common services, including workflow, messaging, and proxy.
Intuit, recognized for software innovation in consumer and commercial products selected InterAction after performing an extensive evaluation of b-to-e vendors, assessing each product's underlying technology, infrastructure capabilities, and application functionality. Initially, manager self service functionality to automate the compensation planning and merit review process has been deployed, providing extensive organizational data, workflow, and routing features necessary to accommodate the dynamically changing organization. Plans to automate many other HR and benefits related functions are already underway.
"After an extensive search in the marketplace, it was obvious as to why Interlynx is a market leader," stated David Kinser, Senior Vice President, Service Delivery and Operations of Intuit. "They have taken best practices methodologies learned at America's leading companies, and imbedded them in their products, giving us the ability to rapidly achieve a level of standardization around our business processes that we have otherwise been unsuccessful at accomplishing." He continued, "InterAction's service delivery architecture provides the infrastructure and functionality needed to support our long term strategic initiatives in the area of workforce optimization."
Michael George, President and CEO of Interlynx commented, "It is very exciting to see our InterAction products deployed at a Silicon Valley icon like Intuit. Their products have always been distinguished in the market for high quality and ease of use - attributes they have found in InterAction, as well." George continued, "When a world class software company like Intuit selects your product for use within their organization, that's true validation of the strength of the product by the most formidable of critics."
