Informa Research Services, Inc., signed an agreement with Intuit Inc., to provide national financial product information for its popular financial portal Quicken.com, announced Michael E. Adler, President and Managing Director of Informa Research Services, Inc.
"This new agreement is an extension of a previous agreement Informa had with Intuit," said Adler. "However, under this arrangement, there are expanded income possibilities for Informa Research Services, added functionality for Quicken.com visitors, and customer referral opportunities for our financial institution clients."
According to Informa Research Services, the supplied financial data is objective and updated daily to assure accuracy and frequent repeat visits from consumers shopping for financial products. Financial institutions interested in increasing new account activity at their company web sites may be able to link their product offerings from Quicken.com directly to their company's sites.
"This is a natural expansion of the services we offer to financial institutions," said Adler. "For the past 18 years, we have helped our clients maximize their income. This new service will allow our clients an efficient method of attracting new deposits and loans."
"With this new functionality, consumers visiting Quicken.com searching for great values on banking products may instantly 'click-over' to the bank that is making the offer," said Deborah Parsons, Product Manager of Partners for Quicken.com. "Potential bank, savings and loan, or credit union customers may then conduct business directly at the financial institution's own website, completing an online application or requesting further contact. We expect this added functionality to be quite popular with the financial shoppers at Quicken.com, as well as the participating banks."
In addition to providing links directly to participating financial institutions and supplying credit card, auto loan, home equity, CD, and savings rates to Quicken.com, Informa Research Services also provides these services to many other Web sites including NYPost.com, Excite.com, AOL.com and Edmunds.com.
