- Lacerte NetTax® is a new Lacerte innovation that will allow anytime, anywhere access to Lacerte programs via the Internet. Now, Lacerte users will be able to access their Lacerte applications in the office, at home or from the road. Lacerte NetTax requires virtually no installation and customers will further benefit by having access to the very latest version of the program each time they log in. Taxpayers' data will reside on Lacerte's servers, enabling professionals to access any client's return whenever and wherever they choose. Customers also have the option of moving taxpayer data to or from their local desktop system for added security. Access to Lacerte NetTax is granted only to authorized users through a highly secure login process.
- The powerful new Lacerte Tax Planner product will seamlessly integrate with the Lacerte tax program to help professionals project their clients' future tax data under multiple scenarios. It will generate professional reports that will help clients make sound financial decisions regarding their tax liability. The Tax Planner will allow up to 10 years of projections; multiple scenarios per year; instant calculations of tax liability; activity-by-activity import for data from Lacerte tax program; creation of custom statements, fields and global notes; and dynamic graphing utility for customized graphs.
