Investors can now set up alerts to notify them when a news headline is available for a particular security. Quicken Quotes Live's real-time news headlines are available from many timely and accurate sources. These include: COMTEX Frontpage, IPO Monitor, Nelson's Broker Summaries, Edgar Online, Vickers, COMTEX Public Companies, (which includes PR Newswire and Business Wire), COMTEX Newsroom Top Headlines, COMTEX Financial Updates, and COMTEX Wall Street Custom Wire.

When a news article appears, the security will be shown in an alerts panel. With news stories and headlines alerted immediately to a PC, an investor can anticipate the markets' reaction and make smart, timely investing decisions. Additionally, the news area has been improved to more easily find what the investor is looking for, such as headlines that can be filtered by symbols or symbol lists for any combination of news wires the user has access to.
