Intuit, Inc. (NASDAQ: INTU) today announced QuickBooks® 2002 Certification and two newly endorsed training seminars for accountants. Offered in association with The Sleeter Group, Inc. and DigitalThink, these educational resources help accountants gain the know-how needed to leverage the power of Intuit's leading QuickBooks accounting products to grow their practice and deliver more high-value services to their small business clients.
QuickBooks 2002 Certification Now Available
Intuit has launched QuickBooks 2002 Certification for members of the company's QuickBooks ProAdvisors Program. The new program tests accountants' capabilities across a variety of QuickBooks product features including invoicing, financial reporting, and ledger maintenance. Certification was created to help accountants differentiate their practice by demonstrating their QuickBooks 2002 expertise. Additionally, accountants who successfully complete certification earn 16 CPE credits good toward maintaining their accreditation with state- and national-level accounting organizations.
This year's certification program is the first to use Internet-based testing. Developed by Intuit and DigitalThink, the portal-based medium provides accountants with the flexibility of completing the certification test at any time and any location with Internet access.
"Accountants told us that with their hectic schedules, they wanted more flexibility when it comes to Certification and testing," said Beth Wellington, Intuit's ProAdvisor Program Manager. "Through the relationship with DigitalThink, we're able to deliver. Accountants can now complete certification examinations at anytime, from home or office. We've made the process much more convenient for our customers."
