Intuit Inc. (NASDAQ: INTU) today announced the hiring of Dotty Hayes as vice president finance operations and corporate controller. In her new role, Hayes will report directly to Brad Henske, Intuit chief financial officer.
"Dotty will bring deep experience and seasoning in financial operations to Intuit from her 26 years of experience in large, mature companies," said Henske. "She is a very important addition to our team to help us continue to grow our company in the future."
Hayes was formerly vice president and controller of Agilent Technologies Inc., a global technology leader in communications, electronics and life sciences. In that role, Hayes directly managed Agilent's global financial services, corporate financial reporting, international controllership and cost accounting activities.
Prior to Agilent, Hayes spent 10 years at Hewlett-Packard Co. in financial management positions of increasing responsibility, including director of internal audit and transition general manager, where she was responsible for overseeing the separation of Agilent from HP. Hayes also spent three years as vice president and controller of Apollo Computer Inc., just prior to Hewlett-Packard's acquisition of Apollo in 1989.
