Intuit Inc. (Nasdaq: INTU) today announced changes to its management team. With preparation for the current tax season complete, Tom Allanson, senior vice president of the consumer tax group, has decided it is an appropriate time to pursue other career opportunities. Steve Bennett, Intuit's president and chief executive officer, will be the acting leader of the consumer tax business until the company finds a replacement.
Intuit also announced that it has expanded the role of Raymond Stern, senior vice president of corporate strategy and development, to include responsibility as chief marketing officer. As a result, Tom Weigman is leaving the company.
