Intuit Inc. (Nasdaq: INTU) today announced season-to-date sales for its consumer tax products and services.
Through Feb. 7, 2004, total end-user purchases of TurboTax® federal desktop software and TurboTax® for the WebSM federal units increased 13 percent over the prior-year period.
"Reflecting our plan to change the mix of our marketing and promotion efforts this season, we're seeing a shift in desktop sales to retail," said Steve Bennett, Intuit's president and chief executive officer.
