The services will be available through the National Bank of Commerce and Central Carolina Bank as part of Intuit's Outsourced Payroll Strategic Alliance program. The banks will also offer customers Intuit's QuickBooks® financial management software and TurboTax® tax preparation and filing software.

"Intuit's Outsourced Payroll division is dedicated to helping small- and mid-sized businesses take the pain out of payroll," said Teresa Shappell, vice president of Intuit's Reno, Nev.-based Outsourced Payroll division, "By teaming with trusted financial service providers such as National Bank of Commerce and Central Carolina Bank, we are able to provide an even more convenient service for our customers."

The banks will begin offering Intuit's Complete Payroll service and QuickBooks and TurboTax software as part of a summer promotion running from June 7 through Aug. 31. During this time, customers can avoid paying any initial setup fees for Intuit's Complete Payroll service. Customers who also select Intuit's HR Assistant service will be eligible to receive a $50 rebate that can be applied to their Complete Payroll service account after 90 days.

"From listening to our customers, we realized that many of them currently use or want to use an Intuit service to manage their payroll process," said Jo Sexton, first vice president, small business product manager at National Commerce Financial. "Through this alliance, we will be able to increase our value to our customers by directly providing them with another tool that will help them better manage their businesses."

The two banks also make QuickBooks connectively available to customers, enabling them to download their balances directly into QuickBooks without waiting to receive monthly statements. Intuit's Complete Payroll also integrates with QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online Edition, providing a fully integrated financial management solution for National Bank of Commerce and Central Carolina Bank business customers.
