Intuit Names New Senior Vice President of Strategy and Corporate Development
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., - July 06, 2005 - Intuit Inc. (Nasdaq: INTU) today named Alex Lintner as senior vice president of strategy and corporate development. Lintner will work with Intuit's CEO and business unit leaders to help drive the overall direction and strategy across Intuit and its many businesses while identifying new areas of growth for existing products and services, and through acquisition. Lintner reports to Steve Bennett, Intuit's president and chief executive officer.

"Alex brings extensive experience and a track record of success in general corporate and business unit strategy consulting with Intuit and other leading national players in a variety of retail sectors," said Bennett. "His background and leadership will be valuable as we position Intuit for continued growth and industry leadership."

Most recently Lintner was vice president and director of The Boston Consulting Group's San Francisco office where he worked closely with Intuit as a client for two years on key business initiatives. Lintner, 43, helped build BCG's consumer practice in Northern California and the Pacific Northwest into the firm's largest industry practice area in that region. Lintner has also worked for strategy consulting firm Roland Berger & Partners as head of its London office.
