Title Keeping or deleting Money reports on the desktop after importing into Quicken using the Data Converter
KB ID#: 576498
Categories: File Management/Conversion, Quicken Home & Business
Question: Do I need to keep or delete the converted Microsoft® Money reports that were saved to my Microsoft® Windows® desktop after using the Data Converter?

Answer:

Converted Microsoft Money reports that were saved to your desktop do not need to be kept after they have been imported into Quicken.

To delete a report that was saved to your desktop:

  1. For each report, right-click the Money reports on your Microsoft Windows desktop, and then select Delete.

  2. (Optional) Double-click the Recycle Bin icon on your desktop, and then choose Empty Recycle Bin from the File menu.

Note: If you would like additional assistance converting your data, please call (800) 811-8766 to speak with a Quicken technical support agent. There is currently no charge for assistance with your data conversion. Other support may be subject to Quicken’s normal billing policies.
