| Answer: |
Follow this procedure to install Quicken on a Macintosh computer:
- If you have an external CD-ROM drive, turn it on, and then start your Macintosh.
Note: If you are using Mac OS® 9, close all other applications that are running, as you may need to restart your Macintosh after installing Quicken. If you are using Mac OS® X, you do not need to close other applications.
- Insert the Quicken CD into the CD-ROM drive.
- Double-click the Installer icon to start the Installer.
- Click Continue in the Welcome window.
- Click Accept to the Software License Agreement.
- Click Install to install Quicken to the location shown. To install Quicken in a different location, choose the location, and then click Install.
- Follow the onscreen installation instructions.
- If the Quicken program prompts you to restart the computer, click Restart. Otherwise, click Quit.
Note: To use the Quicken user's manual, you must have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer. The user's manual contains the complete printed User's Guide, plus additional information about Quicken features.
For additional information, visit the Installation section of the Quicken support Web site.
