1. From the Quicken File menu, choose File Operations, and then choose Rename.
   
   
2. Select the file you want to rename, or type the name of the file in the File Name field.
   
   
3. In the New Name for Quicken File field, enter the new file name.
   
   
4. Click OK.

Tip: Do not use any of the following characters: \ / : * ? <> | " (backward and forward slashes, colon, asterisk, question mark, right and left angle bracket, pipe, and straight quotation marks).
