The Quicken 6 and 98 programs (on compact disc) automatically decide which version to install based on your operating system. To verify which version is installed on your machine, from the Help menu, choose About Quicken. A splash screen will display as follows:

• If the 32-bit version is installed, "Designed for Windows 95" or "Created for Windows 95" displays in the lower right corner of the screen.
• If the 16-bit version is installed, no such message displays on this screen.

Note: There is no 16-bit version of the Quicken 99 or later  programs.
