After downloading and running the Quicken 98 R3 update, you are presented with this message:

"Congratulations! Your Quicken 98 for Windows has been updated to R3. The Quicken Update file can be located at

C:\QUICKENW\INET\Q98U1TO3.EXE.

If you reinstall Quicken, you may want to run this update file again."

The file identification in this message is incorrect. The existing update file in your Inet subdirectory (Qwr1.exe or Qwr2.exe) will not be renamed, however it will be the updated file for R3. To confirm this, check the file date, and it will be the date you made the download.

If you have to reinstall Quicken, use this update file in the Inet subdirectory (Qwr1.exe or Qwr2.exe) to upgrade the installation to R3.
