If completing the steps for OL-error
troubleshooting did not resolve your online
error, or if you are using Quicken 2001 and Microsoft®
Windows XP, run the updater to install the ofxroots.crt
file.
Important! Read these instructions
about the updater before running or downloading
the file.
After reading these instructions, click the Download
Now button below. In the File Download
window, choose either Run this program
from its current location or Save this
program to disk.
- If you choose Run this program from its
current location:
- You may receive a Security Warning
window asking "Do you want to install
and run 'updater.exe from www.quickbase.com'?".
Click Yes.
- Click OK at the message "OFXROOTS.CRT
file has been successfully updated."
(or "OFXROOTS.CRT file has been successfully
received." if Quicken is open).
Note: If Quicken is open when you run
the updater, you will need to exit and
then restart Quicken for the update
to complete.
- If you choose Save this program to disk:
- In the Save As window:
- Be sure the Desktop is selected
in the Save in field.
- Be sure the name in the File name
field is updater.exe.
- Click Save.
- Locate the updater.exe file on the Desktop
and double-click it to start the update.
- Click OK at the message "OFXROOTS.CRT
file has been successfully updated."
(or "OFXROOTS.CRT file has been successfully
received." if Quicken is open). If
Quicken is open when you run the updater,
you will need to exit and then restart
Quicken for the update to complete.

for Internet Explorer 5.5. The windows in
your browser may differ. Click
here if you are using Netscape as your
Internet browser.

After reviewing the above instructions for running
or saving the file, run or download the updater
by clicking the Download Now button below.

After running the updater, you should be able
to use online banking, payment and investment
services through Quicken without receiving an
error.
Note: If you have more than one version of Quicken
on your computer, open each version of Quicken and then run
the updater.
If you are receiving a message other than OL-202, OL-231,
OL-232, OL-248, OL-249, or OL-297, go to http://www.intuit.com/support/quicken/index.html,
choose your version of Quicken from the list, and then enter
your error in the search field.
