Converting from QuickBooks to
Quicken
Quicken cannot convert QuickBooks data because QuickBooks
data files contain many elements for which Quicken has no
support mechanism.
You can, however, convert Quicken data files (except Investment
Accounts) automatically to the same or higher version of QuickBooks.
This is a one-way conversion, however; once Quicken data has
been converted to QuickBooks, it cannot be restored in Quicken.
For more Quicken/QuickBooks conversion information, please
visit the QuickBooks
Support site.
Converting files from other (non-Intuit)
financial programs into Quicken
Quicken uses the Quicken Interchange Format (QIF) to import
and export data. This allows conversion of data files from
both Intuit and non-Intuit financial programs. Data from any
financial program that can export a QIF file can be converted
to the Quicken program. For more information please refer
