Quicken 5 for Windows - Program Updates

The most recent update to Quicken 5 for Windows and Quicken Deluxe 5 for Windows (currently 5.0f) is available as a self-executing download. To update your program, follow this procedure:

1. Check your current release by selecting About Quicken from the Help menu. If it says 5.0f you already have the latest release. If it says anything except 5.0f proceed with the update.
2. If you have Quicken Deluxe, select Download Deluxe Update. (This is a 1163 KB executable file)
3. If you have the basic Quicken program, Download Basic Update. (This is a 279 KB executable file)
4. Locate and launch the update you downloaded. It will expand into four different files.
5. Select the Read Me file and follow its instructions for updating your program.
