New York Withholding Tax Change
The New York State Department of Taxation and Finance has issued new withholding tax tables for New York State and Yonkers Residents. Click here for a copy of the revised tables. The new withholding tables are effective May 1, 2009.
This change is based on legislation that was signed by Governor David Paterson on April 7, 2009. It affects employees making over $200,000. No adjustments are necessary nor are required by the agency for tax withheld prior to using the revised withholding tables. Additional information can be found on the Agency’s website.
